SC Seal Consumer Protection:

The SC Seal Program assures the buyer that the item displayed, such as work of art, which is offered for sale on the members’ site, is authentic, unless specifically described.

In the unlikely event that any original work of art purchased from the website of one of our seal-bearing members is proven to be not authentic, Swiss Commerce will refund the full purchase price and shipping costs paid by the buyer. These situations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The onus of proving that the item is not an authentic work will be on the party making the claim. This offer is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase of the original artwork from the member site, and will be subject to the following: 

Only the actual buyer may raise the claim.

The item must be returned in the same condition, and in the original packaging, as it was dispatched at the time of purchase.

The original invoice has to be produced as irrefutable evidence of proof of purchase

At the time of sale, there was no authentication technique available, which could have helped us to determine that the item was not authentic.

 
Swiss Commerce would not offer this guarantee were it is not sure of the authenticity of the works of art displayed on member sites.
